Presentation of the Corrupted Records
The Corrupted Records (may be called "CR" by some players) are solo-only special mazes. They intend to show what were the past events that occurred into the Great Void (during the famous 15 years our character have passed into it). Except for the Appendix, Corrupted Records are only story-based mazes and don't offer anything else than story dialogs and some zenny at clearance.
At the moment on the global server, there are 6 characters that have a CR story (in order: Lilly > Stella > Erwin > Haru > Iris > Jin) and you need to clear them in order to unlock their related quests. Moreover, each character has 2 different Records, making then 12 different mazes in total, in addition of an Appendix.
These stories are accessible by using teleport books, which can be obtained by the following ways:
- Through the Corrupted Bookshelf you can find next to Tenebris in Grasscover. Each book costs 300,000 ZN for one and 800,000 ZN for the Appendix (this last one can be purchased only once per day).
- Granted for free on specific side quests' accepting (you get it only once through this way so take care not leaving the district without completing it first, otherwise you will have to purchase a new one from the shelf).
About the Appendix, this one is alternative to the other Records and has nothing to do with the initial story showed by them. This one is mainly used to farm some resources such as BP, ECs Components and some random Fashion PKG. Fashion pieces obtained through these PKGs can be dismantled in order to receive Record Fragments, which are used to craft another new Fashion PKG, and etc.
The Appendix isn't fully unlocked directly: you have to clear each character's CR story first in order to unlock them in the Appendix. Thereby, the Appendix isn't accessible as long as you haven't completed the first record of the CR's quests series.
For those who would like to see Corrupted Records story but cannot run them or got lazy too much, here is a video from StrikeRaid for Lilly's and Stella's CR story. Unfortunately, she didn't make any video for Erwin and Haru.Note though that those videos were from GFSW and not the global server!
What are the Corrupted Records used for?
Except for story readers or fashion frantic collectioners, Corrupted Records don't have any proper interest at endgame here. However, it is required to complete the Corrupted Records for one thing.
As you may know, the Corrupted Records are required to complete in order to achieve your character's Desire Awakening (for those who don't know what is it, I invite you to read the dedicated guide page about the Desire Awakening). The Desire Awakening's quests series stems directly from the Corrupted Records, because you first need to complete every of their side quests before unlocking the Desire Awakening's series.

Equipment Requirements
Here are the recommended equipment you should have before heading to the Corrupted Records:
Story Records
- Restrictions:
- Minimum Level: 60
- Team Size: 1 player max.
- Pass: Corrupted Record of X. These are purchasable from the Corrupted Bookshelf at Grasscover, with each one costing 300,000 ZN.
- Daily Limit for entries: N/A.
- FP Consumption per entrance: N/A.
- Active A.R Cards: allowed.
- Number of allowed deaths: unlimited.
- Requirements:
- Legendary Disorders' (AoV) gear set. This one is provided for free at level 65 onwards from the leveling free box; it is recommended to pick the gear set I from this box, and the weapon's choice depends on your character. [Check your character's dedicated guide page for more info about this]
- Accuracy: 1550 or more for 0% miss chance.
- Recommended to have:
- 2 level 9 soulstones equipped on weapon. This is not properly a prerequisite to meet here but it is strongly advised to equip them in general since they highly buff your output damage in average. Note that you obtain a crafting ticket for level 9 soulstones for free at level 55 onwards, and also note that the element of the stones doesn't matter for most cases. [Read the Soulstones' guide for more info about them]
- Some stock of Respawn items for the most unfortunate/ungeared people, as well as healing items.
- Some specific active A.R cards:
- Big Puppet A.R Card. When destroying the golden orb you obtain a buff which negates the cooldown of your skills for 5 seconds, useful here to chain your signature skills in order to kill bosses faster or get some more invulnerability frames for some seconds breathing.
- Piece of Temptation Stone A.R Card. Especially recommended for long-term fights against bosses and/or for ungeared people who barely survive some bosses' combo.
- Direct damage dealing cards, such as Rita or the Gruton Legion (less recommended than the 2 above).
- Some specific passive A.R cards:
- The passive cards' BiS cards: Tenebris, Beneris, Arua and Junk Queen.
- I.O/Rosca. These are especially useful for long-term fights as they can fulfill your Frenzy Awakening skill which provide invulnerability frames in addition of their bonuses. If you come to run the Corrupted Records after achieving your Desire Awakening this is even stronger because of the Desire Worker's effects.
- For ungeared people: crit rate cards such as Leona or Brooke, and accuracy cards such as Victor or Jessie.
Appendix Records
- Restrictions:
- Pass: Corrupted Records' Appendix. These are purchasable from the Corrupted Bookshelf at Grasscover for 800,000 ZN; they can be purchased only once per day.
- All other parameters: Same than for the story records.
- Requirements - Same than for the story records.
- Recommended to have - Same than for the story records.
Mazes' Unfolding
About story mazes themselves, they aren't really different from classic mazes: kill upcoming enemies until you reach the boss' room, and kill him eventually. Beware about bosses here though, they can easily chain you and cancel almost every of your skills (only exceptions being Frenzy/Frenzy Awakening and ultimate skills). Moreover, for ungeared people, they will just perform killing combo on you so prefer going through the Corrupted Records after being at least level 65 and getting your free Disorder's (AoV) gear set +9.
Concerning the Appendix, you only fight against bosses coming from the story mazes here. When entering the boss' room you can choose between one individually among all 6, or 2 groups of 2 bosses: Lilly & Stella, Erwin & Haru or Iris & Jin. Of course, fighting against 2 bosses leaves more end rewards (so better chance to get better rewards eventually), but the fight becomes then quite harder.
The use of Big Puppet A.R card is mostly recommended for the Appendix. Since you fight against bosses only and because they can keep chaining you as easily as you can open a door at home, using it to spam your signature skills on bosses to kill them faster is a great plus to have.
For long-term fights, prioritize the use of I.O/Roska cards (if you have them) or the use of the Piece of Temptation Stone to get invulnerable for some time, which might be useful for some seconds breathing; this card is also a nice way to avoid continuous chaining from bosses.
